Michelle is a trauma and resilience specialist, program manager, and social entrepreneur dedicated to helping families survive, overcome, and rise above life's challenges. As the founder of both April's Voice and Generations Soar, she empowers individuals to overcome trauma and build stronger family systems.
With a background in early childhood education and graduate studies in Family Studies, Michelle combines professional expertise with deep compassion. Through her children’s books, and publishing company, she inspires others to transform pain into purpose, resilience into lasting change and empower youth to discover their unique voice.

Darcell McDade is an entrepreneur who believes in building pathways for people to thrive. She is Known for a strong sense of social awareness and hands on leadership.
Darcell works to create meaningful employment opportunities while mentoring others to reach their full potentional.
Through a blend of business insight and community compassion. She continues to share her expertise and knowledge to others.
Donneisha is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis where she earned her bachelor's degree in health administration. She is currently a nursing student driven by passion to serve and advocate for underserved populations.
Shantel holds a degree in Paralegal Studies. She is a First Lady, Stylist, Author, Certified Paralegal and sexual abuse survivor. According to Shantel, per Revelations 12:11, I have been empowered to, “OPEN MY MOUTH.” Through her book, Shantel was empowered to speak about her divorce, and it gave her the strength to be more vocal about the sexual assaults she has endured. She believes that April’s Voice, gives freedom to those who have been abused and will empower them to find their own voice.
Kinya is a dedicated professional currently pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership. She currently serves with the City of Detroit Police Department, where she works closely with individuals in crisis and those experiencing mental health challenges. With a strong sense of leadership and empathy, she will continue to work towards building stronger, more supportive communities.
Sonja is an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a strong foundation in early childhood education. Thoughtful and reserved by nature, she brings a reflective lens to leadership, prioritizing inclusive practices and emotionally resonant learning environments. Her background in curriculum design and event coordination equips her to contribute strategically to initiatives that support children, families, and community engagement. Sonja offers both creative insight and practical guidance in board-level decision-making.

CEO/Founder of The Beyond Project Inc., is a Transformational Life Coach, Clinical Mental Health Therapist, Minister, Author, and Liturgical Dance Director. She loves to empower, equip, educate and encourage women from all walks of life as well as supporting others to help them reach their full potential and follow their dreams. She has worked in her field for many years as a therapist and has ministered in several ways to include preaching, speaking, teaching and dance. She holds a Honorary Doctorate of Divinity, Master’s Degree in Theology/Pastoral Counseling, Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
She is truly dedicated to family and ministry. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 31:25 which says, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future".
